Border Collie Pups??

It's a bit of a long shot but do any of you lads know of any border collie litters coming up?

Lad at work is wanting one as a family pet, I'm just trying to steer him clear of £600 puppy mill places so I thought I'd ask on here first.

£600 for a collie? as said ask a few farmers you might get one for £50 or even better for free.

I feel sorry for Collies as pets, unless they belong to very active people who want to do loads of fun things with them. Couch potatoes they ain't.

A Collie from working stock,. and required just to be a pet,..can be a total fecking nightmare...

There are exceptions, of course,..but as a rule, you do need to provide an outlet for such a creature to express himself,...or it will get, emotional..

 

The herding breeds are not like,..other dogs,...they have been created different,..for a reason...

 

There are far better types to keep as pets...

Hancock has some 7/8s collie 1/8 greyhound pups , maybe be theyd suit him better as that 1/8 grey might make them more placid
