jigsaw 11,863
you kow the way it is,life gets in the way of meeting up with mates and enjoying their company in great surroundings.Well yesterday I finally got down to see my 2 mates, father and son team they are.We headed out into the local landscape for a good lung buster. It was warm and windy, perfect for a good jaunt.this hill was burnt completely a few months ago by the farmers to regenerate new growth, and they knew exactly what they were up to as its green and fresh compared to the burnt fauna only weeks ago.heres a few photos of the mutts and the scenery here. Its truly a stunning spot. just gives you an idea as to the vastness of the place.some of it is easy walking, some not so easy but all of it is enthralling. heres Caine(lucasxruby)having a scent about.plenty of hares up here. having a well earned rest after reaching the ridge. shanes full deer hound,a big lump with the right attitude.hes been on fox and has had a ''big rabbit'' or two in his time. this land up here is made fr his type of running. 3 Quote Link to post

jigsaw 11,863
Interesting pics, something a bit different for a change, that deerhound has got some length to it bet it can cover some ground its hard to believe but he actually flys across the rocks and has the knack of shortcutting the things he chases when possible, hes no 3 out of 3 but hes a right versatile dog to have around.Hes being put over a very sharp track greyhound bitch soon enough I was told.Shane will be running on the pup for himself.
