Ive been taking the rough dog of mine up in the pinewoods a lot lately and the other week im sure he ate a dried out toad whilst i wasnt looking they were everywhere and after twenty or so minutes of being out he started to shake and his eyes were like saucers proper dilated ive never known a dog eat a toad before but having experimented in all things halucagenic in my youth im sure this is what hed done.

the effects lasted about half an hour and bar from him being a bit unsteady on his feet and being a bit freaked out he soon came back round anyone else ever known a dog do owt like this before.

i have always wondered what would happen if my dog would ate a toad  not that she has yet but she has came close to it many a time but i have managed to stop her (she will eat anything the more you try to get it off her the faster and harder she trys to eat it)

Deffo not magics the effects would have been longer ive seen dogs thats eaten magics and acid at the festivals they dont make em ill just a little spaced out.

Terriermaid your on the money a lot of saliva then he layed down like he was gonna die on me but i kept encouraging him to keep walking and he stopped after about half an hour.

That was a week or so ago now and apart from him loving a bit of hendrix  no ill efects since.

Ive never known a dog attempt a live one these were well dried out on the commision roads so will have to watch he hasnt got a taste for em :wallbash:

I wouldnt have thought hed eat another but you never know he might not connect the illness with the toad

Cheers for the link ferret 15 glad its not one of them toads i believe the neurotoxin on ours is lysergic acid amide very somilar to lsd but not as powerfull and not nice to see the effects for sure.
