adam87 31
One of my hobs will not stop biting. Both brother ferrets are a year old now and one is great. a fantastic worker and a real joy to handle and a happy little Hob. The other one started biting a few months back. he was fine until spring and then just got aggessive. He is very happy in himself and is very playful. But all he wants to do is bite me (ankles are a fav). I Have tried many diffrent things from flicking nose to the spray bottle and he is just getting worse. Hes not intrested in biting others when out in the garden just me lol. Starts with a sniff of the boots and ankles and then as soon as i go to walk he jumps and locks on. Is there any thing else i can do to stop him? At first i thought it might be a season thing but now im not so sure! it probs dosnt help with the time of year but i think he thinks its ok to do it, and as much as i handle him and tell him no, he just comes back for more he is a happy ferret and is in great nick so Just wanted a few opinions on the matter Thanks Adam Quote Link to post

rabbit demon 302
I'd just scruff him by the neck and hold him down till he yawns everytime he tries to bite and make a hissing or spitting noise, Let him up and just repeat that for a while. that's how I nip train mine. Quote Link to post
