I know next to nothing about working down a hole, I went on one thing once as a 14? year old with a chap that bought a KC Lakeland as a working Lakie thinking it'd be good enough

Anyway, for drawing - in the olden days obviously - what's the English Bull like? Any good?

shite,i had 5 of the fukkers(think you'd learn after the 2cd)although when mixed with other bull breeds they did have something to offer,i had a 1st x staff/e.bull and she was good at poking her head down a hole and had a half english bull x staff x pitt and she was excellent..mind,it could have been the other bull types made her decent rather than the E,Bull :icon_redface:

anyone find them any good for anything else?

I remember reading in Germany before they were banned they used them for All sorts, tracking, retrieving, protection work etc

I'd Love to get hold of a decent one and see what it's capable of.

Think you'd learnt of bell ends, crossing them with terrier and trying to breed a fluke

Seen some very good english bull x russells that were used for diging and they put a lot of stuff on the sod for the men that owned them.
