The one 8,489
You should treat a Jill's first litter as a learning curve ,some manage to produce and rear a litter no problem and other make a complete hash of it Quote Link to post
squab 2,875
known it to happen when over keen owners have fecked about with the kits soon after birth,ie counting them or what ever, not saying you did but sure i was told its a possible reason for it Quote Link to post

pie-eater 377
Couldn't have been a phantom pregnancy I suppose? Im intending to breed a litter myself next season if my jill continues to work as well as she has so far. It will be her first litter so Im hoping she will be ok. Quote Link to post

The one 8,489
It could have been anything mate with a first litter a loud noise ect could spook her and she thinks its a threat and eats them . Normally i would say breed from her again when she comes back into season in a week or two but they would be really late kits if you did Quote Link to post
bmull 189
it happens nowt you can do Quote Link to post
will.f11 24
I've lost a couple of litters.. Shame when you want young but the second time I was greatful as was gonna have the Jill jabbed but too tight so just bred her probably would have got rid of most of them anyway like Quote Link to post
