Born Hunter 17,763
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education/educationnews/10931475/Pupils-to-dissect-animal-hearts-in-new-biology-A-level.html Great initiative imo. We need to encourage and nurture British born technical excellence and that starts in schools. I didn't really start anatomy and physiology lessons until I started hunting. How the hell kids can be considered educated in biology without seeing blood and guts first hand boggles my mind. It's just more left wing soft attitudes removing our mind from the realities of the world we live in, it boils my piss. Get it back in GCSE and not just A-Level! Not long back a zoo shot a cull Giraffe and gave a bunch of kids the best biology lesson they'll ever have and there was uproar! Bollocks, breed hundreds of interesting exotic critters and give one to every school. Excite the minds of the country’s future academics, get them thinking and asking questions. You don't learn science in a book, you learn it through experimentation and being encouraged to think about what you are seeing. This is really fundamental stuff for our country, you just can't put a limit on the resources that should be made available for it. It pays back tenfold long term.
robbo 828
We dissected frogs and cows eyes in our biology lessons. Lots of squealing and Gipping and not all by the girls.
Wullz 408
Bulls eyes stuck to the lab roof really good I seem to remember.....there was one up there for ages! Also we had the lungs getting blown up with a bike pump to demonstrate how they inflated....great stuff.... I used to bring in newts and water beetles and stuff to the lab techs and they kept them in tanks....

Ggib 370
i remember early 90s our school was getting foxes shitting all over the place and teachers and pupils all complainning about it, well that friday night we went up lamping and got a huge dog fox after it was humanely dispatched by our dogs we hung it up high in the tree, for all to see the culprit. come the following wednesday the complaints were more about the smell lol when the care taker was asked why it was left up so long he said im not touching that flea ridden thing, then seeing him boaking as he was told by the headmaster get it down now. he cursed us for weeks. lol
