ferreting lad 2
What distances are youz guys zeroing your 17hmrs at? Inch high at 100yards? Quote Link to post
shropshire dan 467
Dead on at 100yards mate. That gives me .2 inch high at 50yards and 2.5 inch drop at 150yards. I've always found this perfect for me just point and shoot from 25-125 yards. 1 inch high at 100yards will give you a 125 yard zero roughly and only 1.5 inch drop at 150yards Edited June 29, 2014 by shropshire dan 1 Quote Link to post
sibaldib 6
I zero at 60yds which gives me a second zero at 100yrds Quote Link to post
Hydropotesinermis 724
Bin it and get a .22 hornet. Quote Link to post
shropshire dan 467
Its faster and flatter than a .22 hornet isn't it? Quote Link to post
slipper 116
dont think so maybe flatter but velocity wise the hornet can make 2900 fps with 35grn tips whilst the hmr is obviously slower being a rimmy with 2500 ish, may be wrong its just what my hornady book says atb, got your 223 yet dan? shropshire dan 467
Nah at least a .470 nitro lol Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
Nah at least a .470 nitro lol The .458 has 300 ft/lbs more than a .470 NE...which is more than a HMR has at the muzzle Should stop hijacking this thread now Quote Link to post
