shropshire mole 190
Hi, Need to remove a few rabbits that are in a large domestic garden, garden seems well proofed but lots of large boundary shrubs prevent full perimeter inspection for holes. Thought about part long netting and flushing rabbits with a terrier?? or leaving net up for a hour and see what happens? any thoughts Or rabbit traps/cages:- Have you any experience of this? Success? Best methods? Home made or shop traps? Best trap bait? Regards Chris Quote Link to post

J Darcy 5,871
Four or five wooden boxes without bottoms placed along the perimeter, especially in the thicker cover. The rabbits cannot resist going through them and a fenn/solway mk6 will hoover them up. BUT it's important that you ensure they are not breeding in the garden and that new rabbits cannot get in the garden. You don't need anything fancy, just a plain wooden box made out of any wood, only the height of a sprung mk6. I also squeeze urine from the previous victim in the box, it always helps bring another one into the kill zone. Quote Link to post
