Fair question.

 

If your local gun shop has one in, phone them up and ask them to measure it up for you, including chokes.

 

My local shop is Sportman Gun Centre, and they're helpful beyond belief. But they are not the cheapest....which isn't an issue most the time. I'm sure they'd be very happy to help.

I am surprised you find the sportsman expensive I have dealt with them for many years having a works account with them and have always found they are ready to do a "deal" that said buying over 35000 cartridges a year and all the other stuff we buy probably helps

Ha ha elephant with no.6 , yeh I find sportsmans aren't too bad but you have to spend a good wack to get anything off Ive found.

You guys must be on about the Exeter store...are there only 2 stores?

I always deal with the Dorset store but they have 3 one at Exeter one at Newport (used to be Litts) one in Dorset

3 I thought there was only 2 , I use Newport on the way to the range round the corner...shame they not more evenly distributed around the country but hey ho.
