Just put the Tracer LEDray 1000 tactical onto my Tika .222 seems a very well made piece of kit and has some handy features ....any one else have one and how do they rate them

Mik try a wolf eyes seal if you want a rolls royce, but ensure you get the pro cap with it.. Or try an xsearcher with extension tube, different league mate.. Make sure you use decent batteries the Panasonic 18650's are good.

 

I've got a few different models, the xsearcher throws the furthest with extension tube, other than that, the wolf eyes seal is better in every way from build, spot adjustment is very easy compared to dereelight and the pro cap power adjustment is the best available, makes the nightmaster / xsearcher slacken the kneck setup, look very poor indeed..

Got this at a decent price Ian as my mate owns a gunsmith ...will give it a try tonight

They are ok for the money and you will find the beam will cut through mist and fog better than the cheap gun lights. Which tend to flood and glare back.

had a spin out with it tonight but will have to tape the mod as there was too much glare of it

You might get glare off the barrel as well Mik, might be better with some tape on that too..

not too impressed with the beam very white and picks up any moisture in the air had a fox at around 200yards the other night and could only see its eyes due to the glare will have to experiment with the filters
