T Bolt

I thinking of buying a browning t bolt 17 hmr. What do you guys think of them.

Get a cz452 hmr mate. Mine has a 16inch barrel and does cloverleaf groups at 100yards

I've had both and the cz is brilliant but the browning off me is just that little bit better.

I have a T Bolt in .22LR,

 

Can't fault the gun and love it's light weight. That's why I bought it over a CZ with either a long or heavy barrel.

Get a CZ 452 or 455 with 16" barrel

Good points, nice magazine, and nice storage compartment for the second mag and it is a 10 shot as well. Weight, lightest HMR out there. Straight pull, nice.

Bad points. Heavy trigger, lightest you will get it is 3lbs if your lucky and 3.5 lbs if your not. I was. Missing rabbits because I was squeezing and squeezing and then wobbling before it finally went off. But if you are into heavy triggers then you are fine. Bolt can open with the safety on and eject bullet. I caught it frequently on my belt or coat. Stupid design fault which should have been dealt with at concept.

 

I now have a CZ with a 16 inch barrel, adjustable trigger. The t bolt is almost a good/great rifle. But back to the engineers to rectify what I perceive as design faults before I would consider buying one.
