Rabbitstopper Barrel Wanted Crosman 2260

Recommended Posts

Looking at modifying my rattie so after longer barrel and maybe steel breech. Thanks

Don't do it....been there done it...end up spending a fortune...before you know it you've spent 200 hundred....chambers may have to send the barrel to your local RFD ....unless you "send" one in for "repair"...

Seriously though once you've fitted a modded breech, barrel, updated gas valve, adjustable hammer,trigger...compressed air conversion ..etc etc... You'll still only have a modified ratty standing you at £££,s with a crap barrel and fires all over the place with a really steep power curve(co2)...

I did all the above....then sold it lost a fortune and bought a cracking Airarms s200 multi shot for £200 notes...which is just as accurate (IMHO) as any rifle out there...

Just a thought....

But then again it was fun doing it......:-)

I'll take that on board. Lol.

I bought a rough one last week but ssomeone has started cutting the barrel then stopped leaving a nasty gash behind, and also the crossman scope mounts have lots of play in them allowing the scope to move side to side. Just figured a steel breech and new barrel would up the power a touch, and also be the cheapest solutions to my problems. Thanks

Normally cheaper to buy one thats already done buddy as you can easily spend a couple of hundred on improving them, Or get a king ratty that has the breech block fitted as standard, You will hit bugger all with the standard ratty mounts as you know, Lol.

Hi guys I and 2 mates are looking for some permission for some rabbit hunting in cornwall but can’t find where to ask. I and my mates are all greatly skilled with air rifles from just sitting in the back of our gardens with targets roughly 50-100yards and want to move onto small game so if anyone knows of anyone in cornwall that would give us permission please let me know.

Hi, we're having a sudden rat infestation on our small holding in North Cotswolds. Wondering if there are any people around with ratting dogs who want a bit of work?
