I have a sister in care full time and by fuk if i ever found out she was ever ill treated in any way the scum that did it would be sharing the hills the goats live on.id bury the bsasterd, they are THE most vunerable of our society and should be treated with the utmost care and compassion.the filthy cnut that did that to an old frail lady will hopefully learn the folly of his ways inside prison by the other inmates.vile human beings that do such stuff.

Been to visit an old mate tonight in a care home, he was diagnosed with MS at 33 and at 60 he can barely move his arms and legs ( didn't stop the old f****r escaping today and going to the shops in his chair lol),

We got out all his old scrap books from his football days, breaks your heart to see him like it now. We pushed him round the great west run a few times to raise money for the local ms charity..

He absolutely helpless and at the mercy of his carers, you'd be some sick c**t to hurt these people..

Sadly it's the evil ones that you hear about, but there a lot of good carers out there doing a good job and putting up with alot

Honestly believe families should do more and take a more active roll

my misses works in a care home and its just shy of a £1000 a week per person to be in there. for that sort of money i dont blame some folk for wanting to check/spy on how well there relative is being treated.

and also for that money you would be expecting good care of your relatives.

I done some work in a few care homes over the years some private and some local authorities etc etc. . . . I must say in one or 2 of the old tired out places you get a feel of doom and gloom from staff etc etc. . . But these places are definately on the Up and improving services on the whole.

Some of the newer purpose built places i've been to in last couple of years have been fantastic and the staff are what i would call " living Angels ". . . I know of one place where the kitchen staff that work there drive to work in brand new Aston Martins and Range Rovers,Obviously because there loaded and Do the job for the Love and not the money.

Do I want to end up in any of these places when I'm old and useless or to fekked to wipe my own arse..? . . . . . Do I foook !

My mum is bedrridden in care home, but it is very good and the staff all seem to really care. I don't how they do it though because they pay the staff half of bugger all. There is also a high staff turnover and not a lot of people will do the job. That's why the wrong people are get employed in some homes.

In my case I had little choice for my mum. She'd been in hospital and she had her leg broken by another patient and she asked to go into care herself. Later she became more ill (a very long story) and in fact she was given 24 hours to live by the GP one day in September 2012! That's a hell of a long 24 hours as she is still going strong. My wife or me visit her about 4 - 5 times a week and she seems content. As said above it is an excellent care home, even with the low pay to staff.

The care for the Elderly over her is a shame as well. Too many Families just shift them off to a home and forget about them.

Untill its time to read the will , then watch the buggers come out of the wood work :censored:

Yes, you'll hear 'em then, loud and clear.
