We have a few transfer stations that we shoot rats on and thought i would share my rigs that i put together. One has a £20 camera and the other has a £120 camera fitted and to be honest for the distance we shoot there is not that much difference in the two.the £20 camera rig cost me less than £100 to build including the torch to build.

it looks really difficult to shoot from the normal shouldered position with the cam hanging that for off of the back?

Mine doesn't hang off the back as much as that but you don't realy shoot in a normal shouldered position as you dont look down the scope, if you tried it with that set up all you would see on the screen is the back of you head or ear hole lol.

We mainly shoot out of the van window so dont shoulder the gun to much and find it a lot easier and relaxed way to shoot..All i know is the lads that come with us and use a lamp to shoot through a standard scope don't get anywhere near the amount of rats we do.
