tillylamp 1,846
hi, is it possible to change a barrel on a .22,and put .177 barrel on from the same make of gun,! I am referring to a break barrel, or is this not as simple as it sounds, if not, I would be interested to hear of any cases about it. thanks tl Quote Link to post
ArchieHood 3,692
Changing from .177 to .22 with most gun designs is likely to cost you 2ftlb in power on your 11.5ftlb gun. However, a few makes and models of airguns manage to retain the same power after calibre change. Quote Link to post

When I changed my TX200 barrel from .22 to .177, I encountered several problems. The hardest part by far was removing the barrel; I then had to add preload washers to bring the power up. In the end it was spot on but took lots of trial and error. Take a look at the post I made on here after completion. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/292537-reworked-tx200hc/ Regards, Steve. 1 Quote Link to post

WhiteRabbit 112
Why not just swap it for the other calibre? White Quote Link to post
