Anyway hello all. I was brought up in the 70s on a farm in Oxfordshire on the River Cherwell and we had full permission over several neighbouring farms in return for rabbit control - probably about 1000 acres. Ive been shooting since the age of 11, had a shotgun certificate from of 13. At some time in my life Ive been into air rifles (normal and FAC), clays, rough and driven game, ferreting, pheasant rearing (under bantams!), .22 long rifle, .22 hornet, coarse, game and sea fishing, carp ponds, long netting, fox control, farming and currently a lot of horse riding. I came across this forum by chance when I did a search on Cymag for an unrelated reason and it looks active, unlike another shooting forum I joined a few years ago, so I decided to sign-up.
