What's the most rats anyone has shoot in one night?

We used to go on a farm which supplied bread to other farms for feed and had a tip at the back of it and we would go on every week with the terriers and catch 70+ and then go on through the week with the guns and take 40+ in a night. The most we ever took in one night was 76. I have never been anywhere like it. The rats were living in the block walls of his barns and it was absolutely filthy. Used to wash my hands in bleach before I left. Good fun but you felt gruby when youd been on.

I had permision on a small tip an we would go every friday. The place was lit up with fllod lights and the rats didnt take any notice of anything. It would be nothing for two of us to shoot 50 - 60 rats a night easy unfortunatly they put cameras up now an dont need a security gaurd so are nights shooting rats are over as there is no one to open up

Only ever shot half a dozen in a session, if there were more I'd sooner take the terrier for some sport.

once had about in an evening on my uncles pig farm around the buildings,that was a combination of dogs,guns and shovels though!

most i have had in one night is 40 odd down at my local 4acre lake which is on a farm.

most ive shot in one night is 60 plus and in 3 week of lamping the same place we easily did over 250

17 in one night in the back garden about 5 years ago our gardens ended what we called "The Dump" cos everyone threw their shyte there like tyres, engines, brickwork many years ago it was an orchard, damson trees still grew there until two years ago.

 

This whole estate has now been demolished

 

I've never known an estate so full of rats, even the two legged ones, wish it was legal to shoot them.
