Carpal Injury (Hyperextension)

Its not a wind up the pup off my dog. The lad put a topic on here when it was 4 months old smashing rabbits. I told him then its a dog its to young leave it. At 6 months it was killing big rabs then 8 months he sent me a video on my phone it doing a fox single handed aswell them bigger stuff.

My Lord.. :blink: .. word's truely fail me .. :icon_eek:

Read ur post mate you still hunting a dog in summer with an injury you caused by running the guts outa him. He only just turned 12 months. Give the dog 6 months off but I bet you can't do it. You won't find a pup that can do the things that pup done at its age shame you ruined it.

shame that sounds like it could of been a very good dog ..

i know its tempting to get them out when they show willing but not holding them back for a few months has messed this dog up ..

hope it dont go on the merry go round like a lot of others do when ruined early.

He had 1 day out after I gave him a rest thought it was healed so wanted to give him a run put my mind at rest anyway the pup kills the summer long ear but I know he's not right hyperextended again! no limping! some people wouldn't even notice the injury! Anyway I asked for advice on how to help the dog I don't need 100 people tell me I shouldn't have ran him obviously the injury is worse than I thought he's off now til fully recovered ?
