Where Do I Start?

I'm rather interested in getting in to falconry and like above where do I start? I don't know anyone that has birds and would like to know if anyone on here who lives in Cumbria has one.

 

I have plenty of permission as well as my own farm to hunt on so if someone wanted to come with there bird and show me the ropes that would be amazing. I don't mind traveling inside of Cumbria either.

A landowner done the same with me a few years ago, he's now flying his own bird & we became great friends.

I'm in Co.Durham. If you don't find someone local to you I'm not that far away if you wanted a look out sometime. There should be plenty of lads in your area that would jump at the chance to fly on your land.

Speak too the BFC mention therez land and quarry involved and they soon sort you with variety of falconers willing to help out

I thought about doing that but surely there's someone on here willing to take me. Some of my perms are teaming with rabbits and various other quarry.
