Accip74 7,112
Good luck with her mate, a fresh challenge is good....... I had a female spar on order, but I've recently been given a young fell terrier bitch (unexpectedly), so gonna be a 'messer' & cancel this year :-(......something I've never done, but I can't concentrate on both this coming season........ A spar is still on the agenda at some point though. How come your female was never flown? Quote Link to post

I'll be flying the same Harris as last season. With more local dales land to go on and a few more woods to hunt through I'm fairly confident of getting a full seasons hunting done. Impossible to say though, I lost over a month last season to injuries, however I should be able to go out and see other hawks if mines laid up after getting in touch with a couple of local falconers lately. It would be great to see gosses and falcons if only for a few days. If the bitch takes ill also have a new Gwp pup to train next season, too young to hunt with but it will keep me busy. 1 Quote Link to post
youcanthide...BANG 1,051
We're gonna have to meet up this year mate I know we said it last season but we both had alot on. Might be able to sort a day out with my mates eagle in the season depending on how well he goes. Can't wait for the season now. It's getting to that time where its not long to go but it feels like forever lol Quote Link to post

To be honest I've been doing a fair bit of work on our yard, garage, garden etc so haven't had time to do much fishing. For me the season is too close and I could have done with another couple of months more. Whatever happens beginning of September the hawk will be back out and the fishing will have to wait until next summer. Quote Link to post
