They must care what the rabbit population is as that is the reason for having the gun. And its not surrounded by houses, just fields.

 

Quite right, I should do a full rabbit population census and provide that in support of your FAC application. Photographs of individual rabbits as proof might also help.

I got land cleared for 22 and 17 hmr on a 16 acre permission if this helps no houses near buy tho just couple farms either side were I also have permission .

On the application it asks what you want it for no where does it say how many

 

I have got fox on my ticket and I have never been asked to prove there is fox on any of the land

 

You can apply for an fac to shoot tin cans if you tell them that's what you want to do with it

 

As long as the land is safe for the bullet it won't be a problem

 

You might struggle to get a straight answer on here the problem is their brothers and their dads are the same bloke

I work on a garden nursery and can assure you they do. Rabbits teath never stop growing so they wear them down by gnawing everything insight

Don't get overly concerned about rabbit numbers, you get your fac for vermin and pest control. Your FEO is only concerned about the safety of the area, one of my permissions is only a 2 acre paddock but in a safe location.
