Dog Fighting Documentary On Tonight

Recommended Posts

Absolute garbage. Bunch of f**kwits filming another bunch of f**kwits. A pathetic attempt by Penny Woolcock to make a film about something underground & edgy, and something that the vast majority of normal people find totally unnacceptable, and winding up with with something pretty disjointed and contrived looking.

Maybe these idiots aren't 'old school' or 'genuine pit-men' or whatever, but the fact is they are breeding and pitting these dogs, so are at least on the spectrum of scum involved in dog fighting. The fact that so many were willing to be filmed makes me think that they've either been paid to appear, or are desperate for some type of gangster street credibility from doing this. Either way I felt like these clowns were rank amateurs as far as dog fighting is concerned.

The flimsy link to pheasant shooting I didn't get. WTF has that got to do with dog fighting??? Along with the other bits about 'blood sports' down the ages, hare coursing, dog fighting in Asia, shooting of race horses, youtube videos of taliban executions etc..., these were all obviously designed to shock the viewer but what do they have to do with illegal dog fighting in the UK?? A blatant attempt to blur lines and bracket some rich banker pheasant shooting in Surrey, with dog fighting..., and the public beheading of someone's poor wife in Kandahar!!!

P!ss poor film with some p!ss poor journalism. Don't think that this'll be winning any awards.

Not seen it yet but not hard to imagine the squalid content of the programme, its been consigned to history for so long the real pitmen either dead packed in moved abroad where its legal or simply in
