Guest Ditch_Shitter
If ye mean ye waiting to see it on Google, mate ....? Takes about a week to appear If it's some other matter? Afraid I wouldn't have a clue!
TITCHY69 10
THANKS FOR THE REPLY DITCH SHITTER I THINK I WILL WAIT A WEEK OR SO IF NOT TRY AGAIN DO YOU HAVE A WEB SITE ON GOOGLE?
Guest Raggedstaff
Google only lists sites its crawlers have indexed. You can point them in the right direction but you can't force it. Give me a shout if nothing appears in a week or so. I've brought a few sites towards the top of the rankings. Oz
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Titchy; I've had my own forum, much like this one, mate. Inside a week we were right up there on Google F*ckin amazed me to see it there, I must say. It's a good feeling to be 'recognised' like that! Basicly, it's all down to how specialised ye title is. Like, call a site " Teens " and there's got to be so much of that shit out there that ye'll likely end up 100 pages back. But, if ye subject matter's " Toad Catching ", ye'll come in top of the first page! As Ragged suggests, there is " SEO ". (Search Engine Optimisation) ways. But I looked into all that and really couldn't be arsed to fiddle with 'Key Words' and such. Too much like hard work and I'm just too straight foreward a guy to be doing with all that. Have I got a site now? Building one 'as we speak', mate But I'll just leave it's title to rush me to the top of the proper search. It'll be about the only site of its exact kind, so I should be laughing ~ and I haven't even bothered to check on my own search terms. People want ye site? They'll find it

gardener 0
Don't know if its any help but my site wasn't showing up closer than page 10 in a Google search. Then a pro said put in a decent 'Links' page and make sure you're using validated coding......a week of muttering and cursing later Hey Presto and Google Page 1 on searches. But like Ditch says Basicly, it's all down to how specialised ye title is. Like, call a site " Teens " and there's got to be so much of that shit out there that ye'll likely end up 100 pages back. Crow 1
Search engines work in funny ways They will all find your site, but you may just be down on page 125! Strangely, the more people who access your site througfh that search result then the higher you move up the list! You can help by making sure your meta-tags are filled in with a range of good words relating to your site. Also, have as much as your site open to general browsers as possible, that way the search bots will be able to view too! As has been said, it takes time Crow By the way, what's your site called? Guest Ditch_Shitter
HTTP://WWW.VALLEYPESTCONTROL.ORG.UK is what ye meant to show, mate. That link actually hides a Pair of http://'s. When ye pasted it into the Navigation box, ye didn't wipe the boxes own http. That's all I'm too rushed to sit and read much right now, but I glanced at ye Rats page. Two things: 1/ Get a picture of a proper " Brown Rat ", the more skin crawley disgusting it looks, the better, obviously 2/ Get some paragraphing in there. Break up ye chunks of sentances with a <p> in the HTML
