buster gonads 862
Iam looking to buy a used springer, going to buy local so i can go see it, i dont want to spend more than £200 less if poss and that includes scope, what i,d like to know is which make/model would be the best to go for and which makes/models should i avoid, the last air rifle i had was a HW80 but that was back in the early 80's, i presume things have moved on since then, buster. mark williams 7,563
Hi Buster, In my humble opinion i would go for a HW springer, and HW for pcp too. Air Arms pro, and the TX 200 are outstanding also.Try and save a little bit more money if you can mate, £300 will buy a lot more rifle than £200. atb. Quote Link to post

treecreeper 1,136
There was a decent 97 on the bbs for 230 the other day. Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 792
You'll pick up a decent but old hw80 or 77 for less than £200 mate, and you'll have either the best break barrel or under lever springer ever made for your money. You're gonna have to part with a bit more of your money for a decent scope but you'll have a self contained quality hunting rig that'll last you for years. 1 Quote Link to post

Can't go wrong with a Weihrauch. A friend picked up a used HW80 with reasonable scope and pellets from a dealer the other month for £250, Deadly combo!. Quote Link to post
