The Percy Country dog and hound show. At Ratcheugh, Alnwick NE66 3AD at 2pm.

Foxhounds, Terriers and lurchers, Gundogs, Family dog show, agility, terrier racing.

So, the classes for Sunday are as follows:-

Polecat hob Polecat jill
Albino hob Albino jill
Sandy hob Sandy jill
Silver hob Silver jill
Coloured hob Coloured jill
(Winners of the above classes go through to the final line up for Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show)

Kit hob kit jill
(kits over 12 weeks old)

Matched pairs

Veteran
(Ferrets 6 years and older)

Not quite
(For our furries friends who may be not quite perfect ie, three legs, missing ear, cataracts etc. Please do not enter unwell ferrets)

Raggiest moult.

(For ferrets rehomed from the rescue. Winners go through to champion rescue of the year at the annual show in October)

PLEASE NOTE
Ensure your ferrets are kept comfortable during what could be a warm afternoon. Bring water to drink and spray to keep the cool, and use an appropriate carrier for them, a cat carrier is ideal, working boxes may be too small for any length of time.
As with all gatherings of dogs and ferrets we recommend that they are vaccinated against canine distemper. Please take reasonable infection control measures by bringing hand gel and making sure poorly animals are not brought along.

This was a good show yesterday. Great venue with the large clubhouse, plenty food, drink etc. The members of the Percy hunt couldn't have been any nicer and always on hand to help out.

Some good looking terriers and lurchers and I thought the judging was very good and consistent .

      QUALIFIERS are available to GB SHOW ORGANISERS for the following CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS
                                                     at the IRISH GAME FAIR, Shanes Castle, Antrim on the 29/30 June.
      1. FIVE NATIONS WHIPPET CHAMPIONSHIP
      2. FIVE NATIONS LURCHER CHAMPIONSHIP
      3. FIVE NATIONS TERRIER CHAMPIONSHIPS
      4. MASTER MC GRATH LURCHER CHALLENGE  Two dogs to qualify from each show ( over and under 23")
      5. MICK THE MILLER CHALLENGE for Traditional HAIRY LURCHERS any size. Two to qualify from each show. 
      EACH CHAMPIONSHIP HAS £200 to the Winner £50 to the Runner Up plus other prizes and quality trophies.   As the 31st ANNUAL All Ireland Championships ( Showing & Racing) also take place this weekend ( which are open all ) qualifiers can have a real opportunity to compete for titles and prizes with the best of Irish dogs. 
      To recognise the additional costs of coming to the event for GB qualifiers, they get FREE tickets to the show and special ferry and accommodation rates and each GB qualifying event organiser gets £50 for their best in show winner.

      Show time again folks! 
      Fell and moorland wtc are holding in there summer show again in good old Lancashire. 
      Get yourself and the family down to support this club. All the cash made gose back to the members if they have a dog stuck and need a rescue. 
      All the usual classes for the terriers and the running dogs. Champion bull X  and child handler for the kids! 
      And Anyone wanting to show there Bedlingtons we have a class for them as well. 
      Qualifiers for champion of champions at the Midlands, Pride of the peaks and more! 
      Food and drinks available on site, trade stalls welcome
