Wxm 1,638
I think you should have children in your 20's and maybe early 30's because you are young enough to have the energy to play with them all day still,What a crock of shit !! I agree on the crock of shit in regards to not having the energy as I know a lot men 40 / 50 + that could run rings around lads my age (26) I do believe that its somewhat unfair on the child if the parents are getting on late 30's 40's or even in their 50's and having to experience the loss of a mother or father, or even having to care for their parents while the child is still at a young age. dare 1,103
Have children when you feel your in a position to give them the sort of life you'd want to give them and lived your own life having done what you've wanted? I wouldn't want to have kids in this day and age in a shitty area I'd rather give them a better chance and class of people to mix with. I wouldn't have a kid until I'm paying a mortgage rather than just relying on the council to house me anywhere. I also wouldn't have kids with a woman unless I've lived with her for a while too know we really get on. Sure we're gonna argue at times n the rest of it but the way I am I couldn't split and have another man raise my kid so I'd rather get to know the woman and try minimise the chances of that. For what it's worth aswell the young girl talking about getting fingered infront of her mum...her dad works. Money can't make someone a good parent my mum used to babysit a rich couples daughter. They paid for her to go private school and she had everything she wanted. When she got abit older and was a good looking well spoken young woman they had no problem introducing her as their daughter. Truth is they didnt know her and missed out on alot. Dispite the private school and everything she ever wanted she ended up pregnant by a coke addict.

So what age do you say is the cut off point? And with that reasoning should racing drivers and motorbike racers have kids because they could get killed and leave their kids without a Dad. I'm 45 and have 3 young kids ranging from 11 months to 8 year old and I think they lead a very fulfilling life, never in the house playing games consoles. Perhaps I should give them up for adoption because theres a chance I may not live long enough is it?

I wouldn't want my kids growing up on an estate in london. Used to hear old people say it wasnt like that in my day. My generation knew plenty who was stabbed and the rest of it and already at the age of 23 I'm thinking its got worse and wasnt as bad in my day. I'd rather not have kids until I'm in a position of being able to choose where I'm going to bring them up. Money or anything doesn't make you a better parent your right but morals do. My morals make me want to give my kid the best chance in life.
STRANGER 948
And if you never make that money Dare, what then? Sometimes you have to play with the hand your dealt and if a council house and minimum wage is all you can aspire to doesn't mean you should never have kids, nor does it mean you will rear them any worse than a multi millionaire. Teaching kids morals, principles and good ethics doesn't cost money.
dare 1,103
I know everyone's different and I ain't expecting to become a millionaire but if I was on minimum wage I'd rather not have kids than live a life that's a constant struggle. Fact is it costs money to raise kids and I'd like to aim for being able to give my kids a better life than I had. I'm not saying people on minimum wage shouldn't have kids though as money doesn't make you a good parent. It's just my preference for myself.
