bigoy19706 276 Posted June 10, 2014 Report Share Posted June 10, 2014 hi all i have been shooting with twin TGB for a bit now and was getting the odd bits and bobs but i was on the point of giving the cattys up as i was not getting any better i tried OTT TTF all sort of tubes and just no good this last week i cut some 1" 1/2 to 1" tapped single TGB and it like a different catty i can hit stuff alot better i thor it was not going to have the power but it drop stuff bang no with 11mm steel i have been shooting cattys for about 2 years and in this time i had 3 bunny and 4 pidgins witch is shit but this week i have been out 2 time and had 2 bunny a pidgin and 2 ducks i am going to leave it now till season Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Longers7 720 Posted June 10, 2014 Report Share Posted June 10, 2014 People always seem to think that they need double theraband because it's going to have so much more power, I've recently started using singles and like you have said, there easier to use/become more accurate with, I use 20mm - 15mm singles with 10mm steel and they have way enough power to drop pigeons,squirrels etc. I'd definately not recommend doubles to new catty shooters as if your not used to them, your arm starts shaking like a shitting dog and you just don't get consistent with them, I find singles last a lot longer than doubles as well. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
