Phil Lloyd 10,738
I only learned recently that a couple of rabbiting boys from down south, were awarded the contract,on the wee island of 'Canna ' ,up here off the west coast. The same place had a massive rat problem, previous to this, but unfortunately an outfit from New Zealand, got it that time.So im obviously glad it went to a crowd from these shores at least LOL, (even though their englishmen !!) he-he-he. Known about this job for quite some time,..the lads are local to me ... I did wonder(at the time) if this 'one' would have interested you ,or not mate, lol. It would have been good to know, what kind of 'price' you would have forwarded, for it also. ha-ha.Interesting info, as always....... I never was much of a travelling man mate,..plus,.been there, done that...kinda thing... My days in the sun are long gone,..I ain't a spring chicken thee knows,.more like an old rooster... All the best, Phil. Edited June 14, 2014 by Phil Lloyd Quote Link to post

However Fair play the lads won the contract and earned their coin .............Not the case on this one socks! Anyone registered with the NT,s tpu who carry out rabbit control for them on a professional basis was contacted and invited to submit a tender for the contract, I believe there were also a couple of non NT contractors invited to also. I considered it briefly and then dismissed the idea as there is no way I could have done it properly and kept the show running down here. The rat clearance job cost just shy of 30k.
