Poacherspocket 189
Can anybody recommend a mincer that I can put rabbit through with bones? Just got my 2 lurchers and terrier on the barf diet and im very pleased with the results however my meat supplier has just put his prices up from 50p to 70p a pound. Im sick of eating rabbit and id like to mince and freeze the rabbits to subsidise the cost of meat and if possible catch enough to keep them fed all the time and just add im some fatty offcuts from other meat. As of yet I havnt come across any second hand and I dont want to spend that much IF it can be helped. Quote Link to post

philstory 83
Just feed the rabbit whole that's all i do. Or cut them in half if to much at once or want to mix with other meat/bone. Quote Link to post
Tiny 7 1,694
Yip feed whole carcases no need to mince it. Dogs teeth with do that for you But if your going down the mincer route. Hobart would be my choice not cheap but you get what you pay for Quote Link to post
