bugg 84
Hi all, recently joined a hft range wich is great, now, I noticed that compared to some of the rifles there mine was seriously underpowered, so after preparing myself for a strip down and service wich to be honest I was dreading having not done it before, I went to the range again today anyway and luckily there were 3 handy chaps from mevagissy up for the day,I said to one I was having an issue with the rifle and in 10 seconds he had it sorted, its a pre anti tamper so a simple solution of winding open the transfer port a little when I put it over the chrono before tinkering it was o my shooting at 9lb after the tweak he did I ran a full cycle over the chrono and the most interesting bit is the rifles sweet spot it at 130 bar and I get 50 full power shots at 11.8,the first 20 shots were reading at 12.4 using 8.4 grain aa fields so we turned it back slightly to achieve the 11.8 it may well be worth turning it down a tad more just to be extra cautious? So really the only point I'm getting to is the stero type of the s410 sweet spot of 170 or whatever, if I hadn't of had a chrono on hand I wouldn't have believed it and the usefulness of joining a club 1 Quote Link to post
