villaman 9,983
After all the problems I had with my Daystate regal ,I thought I would have another HW100kt .in . 177 this time . So had the gun for a few days but noticed a small leak ,so back to the gun shop ,they sent it back to HC . 4 weeks later still no gun and know body can tell me when its coming back, I have given the gun shop until Tuesday to sort it out with HC ,then if no joy I will have my money back again . At least the Regal came back with in the week ever time it went back to Daystate. Hull cartridge get your finger out of your back side and start treating your customer with a bit of respect , if I treated my customer like that ,I would have no work to go and to . At least I still have my HW100kt.22 And the fantastic XTX AIR regged BSA ultra .177 Edited June 8, 2014 by villaman 2 Quote Link to post

I have used Hull many times and normally get service within Day's Aware many Shooters complaints about Service Much comes back to Dealers issues - BOB/R I spoke to HC before I took the gun back to the shop to see if they could pick it from my house ,like Daystate do I all so asked them how long , told 2 weeks ,which I think is to long any how ,when Daystate can do it with in the week !! HC custermer service is not the best ,at a game show I spoke to one of the reps and told him I had a HW100kt , with in seconds he had walked off knowing I all ready had a HW ,NOT VERY GOOD Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
Sorry to hear the effort man. Im guessing that people just go through the pain with all manufacturers/importers... its just you've voiced your headache with this one. They do need to sort it out by the sounds of it. Are your springers running well? Maybe HC's build system only works with the more 'robust' products such as springers. PCP's are far more complicated, both a positive and negative as perhaps shown in this case. Quote Link to post
bigmac 97kt 13,807
The rifle should not of been sent out in the first place like that after all its not a cheep chines copy like Skots SMK,s . Weihrauch.s build quality and standerd,s have slipped in the past few years when i got my 97 kt synthetic i had to sit down and cut the bits of plastic off it was like the air fix models you used to get when we were kids and the stock screws were rusty and this was a brand new rifle . There not like they used to be after all there a top class company who produce top class rifles or used to be eny way atvbmac 2 Quote Link to post

clubshot 22
Aware there are issues as understand most Manufactures - power test by batch and not each Gun HW100 - variations are one of the most popular PCP's on my Club Ranges Visitors often ask if the club get's as Special price as so many on the ranges - Mine is one of the Originals which Bar Customised - Yes it did go back several times due to power issues And recent years where the Valve goes from leaving it full charged and unused for weeks - Joy of so many Guns to use BOB/R Quote Link to post

So after a call to hull and spoke to 3 different people, the last being the second in command (Robert everret) I have been assured it will be given the VIP treatment and returned to me fully fixed and tested, if they can't fix it then a replacement will be sent back or a refund, all this after they had my gun a month last time for it to come back with a bigger leek than before grrrrr. 1 Quote Link to post
moxy 617
I find it admirable that they are quick to offer a repair or a replacement / refund when put under pressure by unhappy customers. But are they honouring the offer? It doesn't sound good with many claims of leaky rifles. If that's the case then I can see why it's a fortnight turn around for repairs!! Their QC really needs to step it up. Especially when you are paying top whack for the HW100. Having to return a rifle several times for the initial problem not to be rectified is poor. How are you getting on VM? Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
I got my 100 cheap because the guy got pissed off with waiting of hc and bought another one. Quote Link to post

How are you getting on VM? Spoke to Chris from HC on Monday, Chris told me he will look into it and will give me a phone Tuesday morning . True to his words Chris got back to me about 10 am Tuesday and told me its not exactly there fault , the gun shop didn't send it off straight away ,I will be taking this up with the gun shop and other things Chris told me as well. HC are bending over backwards for me ,giving me some free stuff and just had a phone call saying that they are tuning the gun as well, so hopefully the out come should be good ,fingers crossed. If any of you have problems with HC ,give them a call and speak to Chris , a very ,very nice bloke to deal with . 2 Quote Link to post
