Improving Vetilation In Dog Truck

Just remembered we fitted these on the old van: pretty basic, but with one on each side to pull air in they did make a good difference. The main problem with van type thingies is that there is no rear opening to help pull the air through: so long as you don't mind cutting holes in the sides of your vehicle these do work.

Bit of feedback I have fitted a rotary vent on the roof to expel hot air and two 12" louvered vents on each side to increase airflow in. The signs are pretty good so far, and it's not so hot in the canopy, however it will not be as airy as a ifor williams, but looks better.

James tried that and nearly cooked the dogs ... He has fitted a sunroof now so that the dogs are nice and cool and we can shoot out of it so a win win .... Oh and he fitted a fan for when he is parked up ......

Sunroof is a good idea, will give him a bell to see what the cost is like or look at fitting one myself if this doesn't workout.

I have oneof these, comes with a 3 way switch so you can either set it to blow air onto the dogs or extract air out which is great when the dogs are wet after a days work

That looks like the unit on the top of psni dog vans.

I've seen them on a transporter with 3 alsations in the back.

Obviously I can't say whether it works well or not, but probably is good kit
