JJEVERS 1
I have taken him with me out in the field and he has killed a few mice with no further instruction.... however I'm not quite sure if I'm going about this right I would like to eventually get him onto bigger game such as rock chucks, badger, raccoon, nutria, etc. and I'm wondering what age you guys start your dogs and how you go about it and if it's just a natural deal where the dog wants to hunt and he will find his own way or if there is steps I can take to improve his skill and get him even more interesed..... morton 5,368
They catch feck all in a kennel, get the dog out and about, let it hunt what its ready for and never overface a youngster, its better to hold a dog back than push it to early. 1 Quote Link to post

But you're correct you do have a fine looking bitch there! Ha ha I'd like to breed over the top of a bitch like that then they could just roll down the badger holes! Lol Quote Link to post
