johnboynewt 50
Hi everyone, just wondering when the season starts again if anyone would be willing to let me come with them lamping? Really struggling to find some land and I'm desperate to get out more this year!! I'm in the north east of England by the way! Quote Link to post
slip lead 862
Someone put a letter on here for people to use (asking for permission) which was excellent. I dont know how you would find it but I'm shore someone may still have it/ saved it.?? 1 Quote Link to post

alex1987 164
I've knocked on literally hundreds of farms and only the last couple of years have had the lamp too have good sport all through the season without having to wander. Get yourself out knocking early morning on a nice sunny day when the farmers are in good spirits it can be painful getting knocked back but once you get one and do s good job soon will follow through word of mouth etc Quote Link to post
Westyorkshire_lad 402
I think nobby is spot on make sure ur presentable and don't turn up with car full of lads etc iv been watching this bit of land full of game past few weeks my self iv been sat around in my work van around the area and the farmer seen me around there too so when I do go ask for permission il go in my work van and uniform, would u say a yes and the farmers name is enough or would u recommend something written ? 1 Quote Link to post
Nobby8126 96
There are plenty of links to perm slips mate. I prefer to have it written just saves on hassle also make you look professional to the farmer. Basc's insurance is a bonus aswel only a fiver a month. Your doin them a favour in the long run so it's not about getting a yes it's about not giving them a reason to say no. Quote Link to post
