Hot Meat 3,109
I don't think that's true pal, I know a guy that's had a few beddy whippets, only uses them for ferreting and only had one that yaps, dog was never over matched, your prob right in as much a lot of dogs will be ruined, but some are just yappers and not only bedy whippets Quote Link to post
nothernlite 18,080
Yapping comes down to the owner over matching them, either because they try them on something they are not capable of catching or trying them too young on something they are. It aint rocket science. Blame the owner not the dog. had a beddy greyhound bitch years ago would yap on a hare not a bunny just never had the top speed to catch most hares got the odd one now hows that the owners fault ? It was over matched on Hares, hence the yapping, not over matched on bunnys, no yapping, you answerd your own question rearly northernlite. Quote Link to post

buster gonads 862
We,ll have to agree to disagree on this one mate. Mines had a couple of Big Bunnies but she needs luck on her side, she has to be on top of them when they get up and it has to be over sooner rather than later, if i wanted a Hare dog TBH i wouldnt have any Beddy in it & it would have to stand at least 24tts, just my opinion though. 2 Quote Link to post
