Another Season , No Dog. What Should I Do?

Recommended Posts

i havent read the thread rew, but do you not now of anyone who has a 5-8 month old pup that needs a home? if you could source a dog of that age then all being well you would have yourself a young dog that you could do a bit with this winter. at that age theres still time to shape the dog to how you want it.

if you get a dog thats doing the buisness then imo you would want to be looking at those that come with a trail first.

Vin, good choices will actually use them mate. If you can think of some more then drop me a link. Including you tomo, if you know of any music that will fit into a hunting vid let me know, maybe something from your time in Ibiza.

Thanks Jim, that is a very kind offer and I like both dogs. We all know how good snipe has been and that bitch looks a lovely animal. Sent you a Pm.

A pup would be the ideal start again, just wish I took on a pup long ago so I wouldnt be in this predicament. I was so adamant to get the best out of fly but each season we have another injury but the poor dog will still run on trying her best for me. She has caught me just about everything over the years. Only two seasons ago, I was in Norfolk stalking cwd. Her feet were damaged from the first run, she was limping behind with a blood trail from every footstep. Then out flushed another Chinese, she ran from behind the other two dogs and dropped and dispatched her quarry within half a football field. She could barely walk the following day but just shows the heart this bitch has.

Anyway, Thanks for your replies.

Deanflute off this site has some tidy little pups... I had a little look yesterday.

There's a dark brindle Dog pup that will be very similar to your bitch and a couple of them have got reyt backs on em.
