SportingShooter 0
I find it's hard to beat a well marbled and properly aired wing rib of Welsh Black beef roasted slowly...now that I could eat all week! Since traveling around a bit, pulled pork is definitely my number 2, I'll make it at any opportunity I can. Mouth is watering thinking about it. For sweet stuff, it would be a toss up between home made egg custard tart and Joe's Ice Cream (Swansea & Cardiff), never had ice cream anywhere like it.

vanman1 411
There are so many I like, I like simple food cooked well, Pigeon breasts stuffed with Garlic served with a cheesy leek bake, cawl peas made with Gammon hocks, ordinary cawl which has to be made with lamb. But I suppose my favourite of all has to be a simple Sunday dinner it does not matter what the meat is, but roasted shoulder of lamb makes the best gravy. TC Pigeon breasts stuffed with garlic served with cheesy leak bake that sounds delicious gota try that one

Brewman 1,192
I do a mean fish pie with potatoes instead of pastry. When I do a chilli I use steak pieces instead of mince with dark chocolate and honey and slow roast it, tingles the taste buds in the mouth. Venison in a red wine sauce with dauphinoise potatoes, Pulled pork and beef brisket.

Ideation 8,216
I love food, and I love cooking. I don't tend to eat much in the day, maybe a bit of toast. But come the evening, I always have a real good feed. For a skinny b*****d, I can put it away. And since i've ended up gluten and dairy intolerant, i've had to do a bit of experimenting with stuff to cook. But it's great in a lot of ways, because I basically can't eat any pre prepared food, so need to cook everything from scratch myself. Anyway, I was wondering. . . . what's your favourite food? And what's your favourite thing to cook for other folk? Be it the Mrs, Kids or Friends. how long you been coeliac jai,my eldest went through a terrible time as a teenager for a good few years and was finally diagnosed with it and has to be careful where she eats and what she eats It's funny mate, My Mrs has always been, but only found out that Gluten f****d her up about a year ago. . . . . it took her 28 years to understand what made her so sick. I on the other hand, spent all my life being able to eat anything and about two years ago started to get really sick all of the time, and about a year ago also finally figured it out! She was born with it, whereas mine was caused by the doctors giving me strong anti biotics for too long! It's a bit of a pain in the arse, but to be fair, we now manage pretty well. It helps so much that my other half is the same. Eating out is the hardest, but its becoming more and more common because of the diets most people eat, that it's getting easier to find stuff in restaurants etc. And I always say. . . . . there is nothing dodgy in a steak! So i just stick to steak and plain potatoes and veg when we are out for dinner.
Tiercel 6,986
I pulled some pork last weekend, cooked it in the slow cooker with orange and lime juice 6 cloves of garlic 3 sliced onions, a little chilli and some chicken stock. It was great in some Hovis baps but not as nice in wraps. It was all right but will be a while before I make it again. TC

It will never be as good as when you taste it from the best BBQ restaurant in Tennessee though!
