Tiercel 6,986
There are so many I like, I like simple food cooked well, Pigeon breasts stuffed with Garlic served with a cheesy leek bake, cawl peas made with Gammon hocks, ordinary cawl which has to be made with lamb. But I suppose my favourite of all has to be a simple Sunday dinner it does not matter what the meat is, but roasted shoulder of lamb makes the best gravy. TC
TOMO 26,503
any of you steak eaters care to elaborate on your favourite type of steak. aberdeen angus irish moiled longhorn dexter belted galloways or just average steer butt? i had longhorn chump on sunday and certainly had different taste to it, it was nice but not sure it was worth the premium price. Serloin,,,for me, prefer it to either fillet,,or rump

Bosun11 537
I am a real 'foody' and love all sorts of good food. Decent cook too and will try (eat) just about anything. Got a real dislike of cheap processed food and a real lean toward good seafood but all good food's good! But for all that, I really enjoy putting together and devouring a bloody good sandwich, especially for myself, by myself, nothing beats that....

Accip74 7,112
I was an incredibly fussy eater from childhood into my early 20's, so much so, that just going to someone's for dinner became stressful....... & then in the space of a year, I went from being like that to wanting to try any & everything!.......& the world of food opened up to me in a big way, helped along the way by foreign travel. I've been cooking seriously now for almost ten years, prompted mainly from being with someone who could barely boil an egg, so I had to step up.......& we ate well. I've since married a women who can cook, but I still do all the cooking & even all the baby food from scratch. I cook quite a lot of salmon, salmon & broccoli bake, chowder, etc. Pork tenderloin cooked with garlic confit is a favourite. Calf's liver in various dishes. Lots of slow cooked stuff. Thai curries & Indian curries. Roast leg of lamb probably brings me the most satisfaction....... Last week I was about to buy some wagyu beef for our wedding anniversary........but at 140 per kilo.....I bottled it at the last second!......gonna research that one a bit more first....;-) Edited June 3, 2014 by Accip74
