I quite like cooking and I can throw together a decent meal ... But I am married to a cross between Mrs beeton fanny cradock Gordon Ramsey and Mary berry so I don't get much chance to put my skills to the test ... We don't do frozen food in my house as my missus feels as if she has failed if she doesn't put a meal on the table that she has made from scratch ... She shops around four times a week to make sure we have fresh produce to cook from and never buys processed food ... It don't come cheap but she does produce stunning healthy meals every night ... Don't get me wrong I love a nice pizza Burger King whatever but I am lucky that my missus loves to cook bake bread and make cakes and long may it continue .......

any of you steak eaters care to elaborate on your favourite type of steak.

aberdeen angus

irish moiled

longhorn

dexter

belted galloways

or just average steer butt?

i had longhorn chump on sunday and certainly had different taste to it, it was nice but not sure it was worth the premium price.

I can't really think what my favourite meal is but now and again I have a craving for a proper pub/restaurant quality beef burger. I had one at a place called Titchewell Manor a few weeks back in Norfolk which tasted amazing.

If I was cooking for someone I'd probably want to do a medium rare roe/muntjac loin with roast veg and a red wine sauce, but that'd depend on their taste.

Without doubt though the best way to cook has to be outside on a charcoal BBQ, whatever it is you're cooking.

Personal favourite: Marzipan! I can eat it until I vomit. After I vomit, empty stomach, so can start again...a la Roman Stylee.

Favourite to cook: I make an awesome salad haha. In all seriousness, I LOVE to bake! Oh dear, I sound like someone from High School Musical haha. But I do love to make cakes! I have a brilliant chocolate flapjack with Chia Seeds, protein powder, and so much golden syrup that you'll go into a coma!

Having a vegetarian wife, I have to be careful what I can cook in the kitchen. The smell of meat makes her want to spew up. Thank God for the BBQ!!!
