norseman 424
Been working now since I left school at 16, couldn't wait to fecking leave the place. Got my trade and have had work through most of the recession. I'm lucky to actually love my job which is unusual these days with all the dead end jobs about. I got thinking recently about going back to education, I don't have any A levels ect so I'd have to do an entry course to enter into university. I just wanted to ask what people think about open university? is it do-able? has anyone on here got a degree from open university? I still don't know what im going to study yet, but as I have my trade it will always be there as a safety net. Would love to hear peoples views/experiences on this. Born Hunter 17,780
Good luck. A colleague trained as a mechanic then one day decided to be a theoretical physicist..... as you do...... he went to uni (full time) and did his PhD. Plenty have done similar but I can't add anything constructive mind.
