Aup Chris just wandering if you know what th price difference is between normal vmax .223 and super performance .223

I use the 53gr superformance and its a great round. very accurate and like little bombs when they hit a fox.

Cheers alan, going to try a box tomorrow, see what they group like in my cz, not sure how much yet dan think they are about 25 to 30 quid a box, normal 40 vmax were 18 quid last time I bought some, normally reload but waiting on powder so going to use factory ammo for a bit

Hornady 53gr V-max Superperformance are £19.72 and 55gr Varmint Express V-Max £18.35, and 40gr V-Max £20.93

I wander why the 40g is more expensive?

 

Im planning on using 55g vmax in my .223 when i get it if she likes them of course. Main reason is my local feo says he always has them in stock

I never tried the 40gr but lads on another forum love them and at 3800fps there the flattest round you'll get for the .223, there also supposed to be very hard hitting.

Dosnt sound alot as its the same weight as a .22 sub. But with that velocity I bet it does the business
