Don't borrow money off guy 2

Was it Shakespeare who said;   " Never a Lender, or Borrower be; Or some c***t, with a Cleaver, may come looking for thee! "

15 years down the toilet over money.......................id choose my friends more carefully.

What would you do?

2 guys very good friends for 15 years.

1 guy has 6 months of work due to illness.

Guy 2 offers to help him with a cash loan.

6 month later guy 1 starts to pay back the money in weekly installments.

Half way through paying it all back, guy 1 again isnt working so misses 2 weeks out apologising to hes mate.

Guy 2 starts to threaten guy 1 with going to see hes elderly folks to get the money from them.

Guy 1 cant believe what he's hearing and says. No your not going round there.

With that guy 2 picks up a meat cleaver and attacks guy1 , hes mate.

So what would you do in this scenario?

would deppend on how much guy 1 was taking the piss

whats sort of figure is left to pay ?

i had a friend offer to lend my 10k probably 10 years ago now. it was to buy a piece of land next to a house my partner and her sister own... i turned him down flat, my reasoning was simple. good friends are hard to come by, he is a good friend but if times became hard and i could not pay him back, i would have a little bigger garden at a house i will one day move in to but would have lost a good friend that will go out of his way if needs must..

you would be suprised how few good friends you actually have when your stuck between a rock and a hard place

Years ago I knew a guy who was one of those body building type.

Firing steroids down his neck. Anyway he sold them to other lads.

Well he decided to expand and sold pills etc.

Threatened a cpl dealers and hit one of them,

Well 2 days later couple of Glesga lads chap his door, and proceeded to whack him about the head and body with a cpl butchers cleavers !

He crawled from his door onto the street, I honestly didn't think a body could survive with the amount of blood he left on the road.

Became a total recluse , kind you I'd never answer my f***ing door again if that happened to me haha

He died years later from an overdose
