Griffinarms 0
Hi folks, I'm new here to the forum and first things first, my name is David and I'm a board member of this new hunting club we are founding here in Egypt. There are no privet hunting or air gunning clubs here so we are in the process of founding one, it's only a matter of paperwork and fees. We have an Arabic forum and a facebook page with 15,000 members. Personally I love tuning airguns and most of our spare parts come from airgunspares.co.uk which are quite good, but the main problem that I personally have when tuning an airgun is finding a good quality spring. See we don't have power limit so I bought some of the OX and Titan FAC mainspring, while these springs are powerful the are also too hard to cock and they drastically increase the recoil. So I'm staying away from these brands at least for the FAC version. The other springs that I have tried is the vortek mainspring, these springs are beautiful, unfortunately they are too expensive to ship. I need help locating some high quality springs the likes of those used by Tony Wall of Sandwell field sports in the UK. I would also appreciate your input on the topic of mainsprings and where to get them, preferably in the UK. Quote Link to post
