dogs-n-natives 1,182
I didn't have the camera with me when we visited the land last month. But I snapped these from the vehicle passing some similar looking land. The land we are hunting contains some pine cover up some of the small glens, and even fresh water springs, which you can imagine are a real draw. 2 Quote Link to post
Panna 68
Are there no trees, only bushes? Are there no mountains, but hills? WOW! YIS, Anna Quote Link to post

dogs-n-natives 1,182
Anna, most of it looks like those pictures, woody shrubs that grow to chest height like rosemary and a dwarf oak, theres no leafy plants or trees at all, unless by the river or a spring... but trees (pine) grow in some of the valleys, thats where the boar spend their days Its quite a dramatic change, once you cross the Pyrenees and drop down into the desert! 3 Quote Link to post
mushroom 13,198
If you drop this way (Catalunya) it goes green then desert, the north around Basque country etc is the greenest. The mountains around Barcelona look just like this area DN 2 Quote Link to post
dogs-n-natives 1,182
Yes, I like the drive into Catalunya, you start seeing the orange groves, palm trees etc.. lovely blue Mediterranean sea to snorkel in, missing it already! 2 Quote Link to post
bullmastiff 615
Looks perfect for running the dogs, wide open spaces with good field of view.. Also should be good for getting a few photos or a bit of film of the hunt. Anyone good with a camera going! 1 Quote Link to post
