unlacedgecko 1,466
Good luck to all going, I haven't hunted pigs, I know some of you have. I know your not using any guns, but wouldn't at least one shotgun be useful if god forbid you need to put a badly injured dog down? I am looking forward to your posts and pics post hunt...... My car sick whippet puppy wouldn't be much use...... I understand that the landowner has a gun at his house we can utilise for any such occasions. 1 Quote Link to post
unlacedgecko 1,466
Fair enough ug, first week it is then. Cheers. I'm happy to live handle all sorts of quarry, but I'd rather face a wounded pig with just a tooth pick and a poodle than tell my missus we are changing the date of the wedding. 3 Quote Link to post

stevemac 442
mistake I made years ago was to have it on them to tight while hunting its great for cutting down the vet bills but a chest plate or vest will hold in the heat and help over heating the dog as well as restrict movement.
