Jill Fighting/dominant

Hi all,

 

I have a vac hob and two Jill's (the Jill's are litter mates), all three are coming on for 14 months old. One of the Jill's has started dragging the other about by the scruff and won't let her out of the sleeping area.

 

Any time the other Jill gets away the dominant one will chase her down and drag her back in. Her neck pretty red and getting marked up.

This is my first time with ferrets so no idea what is up, any help would be great.

Mine are doing the same they think there the baby's just split them up to give them piece now n then that's what am doing any way

Aye there coming into season and the hormones are running rampart your snipped hob should sort that out , but if shes marking up the other jills neck watch she doesnt cut it , rub something like Bitter apple into it she will soon leave it alone

Thanks lads, thought she had lost the plot and had it in for the other Jill. Poor hob, I also know what its like living with a female that will go mental out of the blue and blame it on hormones.
