Filling Pre Charged Air Rifle

Recommended Posts

From my limited experience, I would say yes assuming it is in test (it will need to be to get refills) and has an appropriate valve on it with a whip (hose to connect it to the gun) and a bleed valve. A 300 bar cylinder would also be preferable to a 232 bar one as you will get more re-charges per fill. The gun or the valve (or both) will need to have a gauge on it so you can see what your fill pressure in the gun is. Hope that helps

Surface or below surface tom?

Not much difference between them other than the valve.

A surface only bottle will carry a five year test. A below surface 3 years.

If you wish to have the valves changed and provided the dive cylinder is new enough and will take the correct tapered thread will cost you about £75 fitted.
