smithie 2,444
i just watched the clip again and that chap has nerves of steel imo. never did he take the cammera off the bear even when he could small its breath. i know i would have thrown it (if i did not drop it with the shaking) just to distact the bear.. but this is only if i could think straight. in reality i would have made my sen small and shook like a shitting dog

irishnut 297
Black Bears are pretty harmless. Its the others that f**k you up lol. pretty harmless compared to a grizzly or polar bear. thats like saying an alagator is pretty harmless compared to a nile croc. it could have kill him with a paw swipe or latched onto him with its teeth. dare 1,103
Would love a holiday where you can camp in the middle of no where with nature and wild animals like bears and stuff. Anyone ever gone on that sort of holiday? Would be different than your typical Disney land type holiday. Googled wildlife holidays before and all that came up was for African safaris if I remember right. Wouldn't get me in Africa even if you paid me, sure itll be lovely but too much danger and politics for myself.
rabbit demon 302
Oh f**k that thing coming up the tree at you, I'd be getting into the fetal position and bawling my eyes out. Tranquilizer gun would be handy too in that situation... Shoot myself in the forehead with it. Like how it just gave him a look up and down then fcuked off. Lovely creature though it could pull you llimb from limb.

Lol yes, but word of advice dont 'book' this kind of holiday in North America/Canada, you can buy visitor hunting tickets from most local wal-marts etc and crack on... millions of hectares of crown land to hunt over

Without that you're a bit fecked. I wouldn't have a clue what I'm doing... One day though, I'd love to hunt in North America. For some Africa is the ultimate but for me N.America has the greatest appeal.
