darren_nash 85
would be a bit of a gamble offspring being anything from between 18" -32"..? Quote Link to post
Maximus Ferret 2,063
would be a bit of a gamble offspring being anything from between 18" -32"..? The ones I saw at Alan Charles' I remember as being fairly level. I'd think they could vary a bit though. Quote Link to post

I don't really go along with the theory of a lot of size range, one or two maybe at the extreme ends, but in the main I think you'd get more that were sort of in the middle of both parents, bitches around 24"ish, dogs around 26". Would be great to hear from people that have bred this cross and kept in touch with who the pups were placed with 1 Quote Link to post
shaaark 10,765
Just to clarify, I'm not being awkward, just using a bit of common sense. After all when a 16-17" bedlington gets mated to a 26-27" greyhound, you get get dogs which end up midway in size. Can't see the difference in any other 1st x type with a big height difference Quote Link to post
bunnys 1,228
all depends how they throw ,whipps tend to throw there selves in the bitches with large type hounds deerhounds and greys when one considers whippet bbitches can range from 17 half ta twenty one in the pedigree class . I would say a good male of the deerhound xs at 25 would be a good size for the x. atb bunnys. Quote Link to post
